Annual Service
Most Stairlift manufacturers will recommend that you have your equipment serviced on an annual basis.
Our professional and friendly engineer will check that the Stairlift is clean to ensure that it runs smoothly and lubricate where necessary. He will check all the safety devices including the over speed governor, and check for wear on brushes, rollers and guides. The batteries will also be checked.
SERVICE CHARGES.
We charge a fixed price for servicing. If your Stairlift breaks down we will come out to you as quickly as possible. Most repairs can be carried out on the same day for a fixed call out charge.
No Contracts
We don’t offer service contracts – in our experience we have found that contracts work out more expensive in the long term, than Cambridge Stairlifts Pay-As-You-Go system.
Pay-As-You-Go
You don’t have to have bought your Stairlift from us to use our service and repair service. Cambridge Stairlifts “Pay-As-You-Go” could be the best option for you.
Simply contact us by telephone or via our online form to arrange your service or repair. You can also register your interest by sending us your next service date, and we will arrange to contact you at that time.
Batteries
One of the most common reasons we get for call outs is regarding the Stairlift battery. If your Stairlift starts to slow down when moving upstairs, it is most likely to be the batteries starting to fail. if this happens we recommend you have the Stairlift batteries replaced as soon as possible to avoid the Stairlift failing. If you wish to fit new batteries yourself, Cambridge Stairlifts can also supply batteries as required.
